Black Circle Coffee launches new blend inspired by TV’s king of storage
Cheshire roaster Black Circle Coffee has launched a new blend of coffee inspired by a meeting with TV’s king of storage, Jesse McClure.
Sideburns Bold, named after the Storage Hunter star’s trademark sideburns, is available from May 14th and, like its other blends, it is made from carefully-selected, high-quality beans that are only roasted once an order’s been placed.
Jesse McClure agreed to put his name to the blend after initially contacting owner Mark Slinger on Twitter and arranging a meeting in Stoke as part of his recent UK tour. He liked the company branding and, as a coffee-lover, was only too happy to be associated with the new blend.
“It’s great we can launch a blend backed by Jesse from Storage Hunters. We pride ourselves on the quality of our coffee and its freshness, and Jesse fully got the concept when we spoke to him recently,” said Mark Slinger from his office in Cheshire.
“Sideburns Bold is a Fair Trade, organic variety that will appeal to anyone who appreciates a great cup of coffee. We are officially launching it on the 14th May when it will be available to buy from our website.”
“I saw Black Circle’s Twitter feed and its emphasis on delivering fresh, quality coffee and wanted to know more. As I was coming to England in the spring, I suggested we meet up so I could see for myself who the guys behind the business are, and if I could help in some way. I love the branding too as my favourite colours are black and white, as you can see from my wardrobe on the TV show. I’m really happy to be able to put my face and support to Sideburns Bold,” said Jesse McClure.
Black Circle will also be exhibiting at the annual Caffe Culture show at London’s Olympia in May where around 230-exhibitors take part. They can be found on stand J50.
