Three jobs created as HLA open second base, in Middlesbrough
Facilities management firm HLA Services have opened a second office, in Middlesbrough, to service the Teesside market.
The Boldon-headquartered outfit have invested in a new office on Skippers Lane Industrial Estate, creating three jobs in the process, with plans to further increase its workforce throughout the year.
It comes on the back of £8 million turnover in the last financial year - HLA’s highest ever - with a further 10% increase estimated for this quarter.
HLA employ 100 people in the region and service major clients such as Nissan, Caterpillar and Newcastle International Airport.
Tony Walsh, Gary Jones and Dave Allen now join the team as air conditioning and refrigeration engineer, air conditioning and heating engineer and manager, respectively.
Service director Neil Henry said: “We are delighted to have opened our second office and hope that this will help us firmly establish HLA Services in the south of the region and allow us provide an even better service by having additional engineers located in close proximity to our clients’ offices.
“The addition of our three new staff, and a further eight which were recruited at the beginning of the year, is a fantastic achievement and we are hoping to continue to expand on this growth and further establish HLA Services nationally and in the North East.”
