Changing The Way Women Live and Work

Female Entrepreneurs and corporate managers make an amazing contribution to our region, but there’s no denying, it can be tough balancing work, home, family and relationships.

Ex-Disney HR director Lucie Bradbury went through her own very challenging experiences and feelings of frustration before deciding to actively do something to make a difference for a wider community of female entreprenuers. Researching more deeply she identified the very different requirements that women have to truly thrive and be successful.

Six years ago she created Damsels in Success, a personal growth community for female entrepreneurs to develop themselves in different ways to the norm, so that they can develop their businesses and roles more successfully without the stress an anxiety that exists for many.

Based around Six Laws for Women, these principles and practices are helping many women in business to see new ways to live and work which are far more fulfilling.

Damsels in Success has been growing ever since and is now a thriving community, helping women achieve more success with ease, and without the stress - in ALL areas of life.

This fast growing UK-wide community is showing women just how to make changes in their life to help them really shine, feel totally authentic in themselves and supported to grow in ways they possibly wouldn’t otherwise.

Yorkshire hasn’t had a presence until now, and on 22nd May, 2-5pm the Leeds showcase event takes place at The Woodlands Hotel, and women from across the region are invited to experience a different approach to success in business and in life.

Leeds Director, Dawn Grossart says, “Damsels in Success is where amazing, passionate, like-minded women get together to learn, laugh and grow. It’s for women who run their own businesses, or who want to (no matter how secretly). It’s for women who want much more out of life and are committed to themselves to evolve and grow to achieve this.

“Or as we like to put it – it’s for women who are looking for more success without the stress. Each month we focus on a different topic, from achieving our dreams and desires, maximizing our health and energy, creating wealth, designing our ideal businesses and lives, and celebrating everything that’s great about being entrepreneurial women.

“We’re loving, inspiring, passionate, motivating, energizing, unconditionally supportive, stretching, connecting and full of celebration. We understand that we’re all juggling several roles, have busy lives where we’re mostly focused on looking after others and sometimes we just don’t feel like we’re getting the balance right.”

Changing the way women live and work IS very possible when the right mix of support, guidance and inspiration is there and our region benefits most from the increased success, happiness and fulfilment of women.
