£5.5 million Manchester luxury apartments sell out

A £5.5 million development of luxury flats in South Manchester has sold out.

The 36 apartments at Didsbury Point were all sold off-plan, with just over a quarter of the buyers using the government’s Help to Buy scheme.

The development, which consists of one and two bedroom properties, is being developed by Lymm-based Mulbury Homes and is the first to be delivered under its Mulbury Living brand.

The properties are being built by Manchester-based Harbur Construction.

Greg Mulligan, a director of Mulbury Homes, said: “We knew that these high quality apartments would be attractive to buyers as they offer city living in a great central location and the scale of that demand is really pleasing.

“We’ve seen a range of buyers from those looking to get on the first rung of the property ladder to existing home owners. The fact that all have purchased before the development is complete is testament to the contemporary design and high specifications of the apartments.

“It is also further evidence that there is a renewed sense of confidence in the housing market.”
