Baker Tilly reveal growth designs for Lancashire
Accountancy firm Baker Tilly has opened its new Preston office with around 200 staff.
Nine partners will lead the 20,000 sq ft office at Bluebell House, close to junction 31a of the M6.
The move follows Baker Tilly’s merger with professional services firm RSM Tenon.
Jill Jones, Baker Tilly’s North West Regional Managing Partner said: “Strategically, Preston is a great location in the centre of Lancashire which will allow us to continue to provide excellent service to our existing clients and offer local businesses a full service accountancy practice focused on SMEs which has true strength and depth.
“We will be one of the few firms in the area to offer a full range of audit, accountancy, tax, corporate finance, restructuring and business advisory services.
“We see great potential for Lancashire and we plan to double the size of our current business in the region over the next three years.
“We expect to invest significantly in new talent from around the region so that we can further enhance our services to clients, helping them achieve their business goals as the UK economy picks up.’
Baker Tilly’s other offices in the North West include Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Warrington and Stoke.
