Boob-La-La. Couture Augmentation arrives in Britain

Despite centuries of fractious history with our neighbours across the Channel, Britain has undoubtedly enjoyed a long love affair with some of France’s best-known exports such as fine wine and fashion. Now, hot on the heels of Jean Paul Gaultier’s famous corset comes something equally stylish to fill it with: the ‘Couture’ boob job.

Joining the UK’s only manufacturer of breast implants Nagor; which already offers patients 270 potential projection and profile combinations; is sister brand Eurosilicone, being introduced this month to Britain by parent company to both, GC Aesthetics.

The addition of this extensive, French-made range means it’s no longer about apples and oranges for British women who will now have close to 600 variations of boob job to choose from, with the widest-ever choice of shapes, textures, gels and volumes for a fully customisable and personalised ‘Couture’ augmentation.

Europe’s largest manufacturer, Eurosilicone has over a quarter of a century’s history in supplying high quality medical devices internationally. Its product ranges include the bestselling ‘Round Collection’ spanning 219 variations, as well as the ‘Matrix’ offering 9 types with 102 variations. Together with British sibling Nagor, which has manufacturing facilities in Cumbernauld and Ashby-de-la-Zouch, they produce over 300,000 implants annually exported to over 80 countries. GC Aesthetics products also offer the most comprehensive warranty on the market: free and valid for the entirety of the patients’ lifetime, rather than just the product’s lifetime.

According to UK statistics, demand for breast augmentation has risen by a whopping 13% in the last year. GC Aesthetics’ Chief Executive Ayse Kocak; the industry’s first-ever female CEO; says;

“We’re thrilled to now offer all our products directly to surgeons in Britain; together both brands have over 60 years combined history, presenting patients across the UK more choice than ever before. If a woman makes the decision to undergo breast augmentation, she should be able to work with her surgeon to select the shape, volume and projection that most suits her individual wishes, and the addition of the Eurosilicone range now introduces hundreds of new aesthetic possibilities.

“Our company is proud to listen and respond to women’s needs; we’re not just making and selling medical aesthetic products, we are helping them change the way they feel about themselves.”

A recent study by GC Aesthetics showed the bestselling implant size around the globe was equivalent to a moderate 2-3 bra cup sizes, but tastes in shape and projection vary widely from country to country. Unlike its main competitors whose implants have not changed since the days before Uggs and Facebook, GC Aesthetics regularly launch and update their ranges to keep up with customer (both women and surgeons’) feedback.
