Expansion for North West web specialist Ixis after major contract wins
A North West web specialist has doubled its workforce after winning a number of new clients including a global charity, a national planning consultancy and two leading local authorities.
Ixis, specialists in open source software Drupal, has just recorded its best financial quarter since the company was founded in 2004 and is on target to increase turnover by 30 per cent by the end of its financial year in August to £1.6 million.
New contracts for Ixis include a mixture of consultancy, support, hosting and development services for Turley, Basware, Amnesty International, The Donkey Sanctuary, Westminster Council, Times Education and Haringey Council.
The workforce at the Warrington-based company has grown from 9 to 18 with new members handlingtechnical, operational and administration roles.
Ixis were also recently appointed onto the latest version of the Government’s G-Cloud procurement framework - G Cloud 5, which allows the public sector to procure cloud products from a list of suppliers via an online store called CloudStore.
