The Loop appoints K2L Marketing
The Loop, Manchester’s fibre network, has appointed Salford Quays-based marketing agency K2L Marketing.
The brief involves developing the current Loop brand, to capitalise on recent business wins and highlight the service USP, which is uninterrupted, guaranteed ultra-fast internet connectivity for Manchester businesses.
K2L will create new brand assets and collateral which will be rolled out through a series of awareness and promotional campaigns across the city, both on and offline.
Ashley Griffiths, Managing Director of The Loop said: “We have our own significant fibre presence in Manchester and this sets us apart from the competition.
“I have been impressed by previous K2L campaigns, and their talents as an integrated marketing specialist will help get this message heard. We can bring fibre directly into a client’s building so they tap into a dedicated service which isn’t diluted by sharing it with other users. The message we want to get across is - ’Why share when you can have the fibre direct to your door? ’.”
Scott Kennedy, Director at K2L Marketing said: “The Loop has a unique offering to connect Manchester businesses, especially those who are involved in transferring data and where high speed, reliable internet access is important.
“Most providers claim to offer ‘up to’ a certain speed because they can’t guarantee it at all times. There is no ‘up to’ with The Loop’s service. It’s like turning on the tap knowing no one else is sharing the water supply and it’s our job to get that message across to Manchester’s business community.”
The Loop, which is part of Gamma, one of the UK’s largest fixed line voice carriers, has its Network Operations Centre in Trafford Park. It offers ultrafast connectivity right to the door for businesses close to its 82 km (50 mile) fibre network that stretches around the city of Manchester.
