York estate agent diversifies and rebrands after founder buy out
York estate agent and property consultant DHP Croft has announced a strategic repositioning and a new name following the deal to acquire the firm by founder Toby Cockcroft.
The Yorkshire firm, which was established in 2010, and is based in York and Leeds, will be known as Croft Residential from this month, and has announced that it is extending its activities in premium urban residential and commercial property projects.
The firm is well-known for its work as an agent for country estates and large rural properties.
Croft Residential’s current portfolio of sales includes 50 properties worth over £55 million across the North of England.
The 30 acre country estate Grantley Hall, near Ripon; York’s first development of riverside penthouses at the Bonding Warehouse; and Flamingo Land owner Gordon Gibb’s £4.5 million rural mansion near Pickering are among the properties currently being marketed by the firm.
Founder Toby Cockcroft said: “Our recent projects in land acquisition, commercial development and urban residential sales have shown that the approach we take to carefully placing properties with the right target customers translates into other sectors.”
“We intend to take our success in the premium country home sector, and push that into new markets. We are already working with developers such as Grantside and private landowners and now deliver a consultancy agent offering that partners developers and landowners with hand picked buyers,” he said.
“This is a natural extension of the business we have already been doing through our network of investors and landowners, and it’s exciting to be broadening our offering following the buy out.”
