Armstrong Watson relocates in Leeds leading the way for expansion

Business and financial advisory firm Armstrong Watson has moved its Leeds office team to a new location in the centre of Leeds business district.

The move has been prompted by the new direction the firm is taking in the city with its business advisory services and the expansion of both new and existing areas of the business.

The relocation brings all of the team to 10 South Parade on one open plan floor.

In the past 12 months Armstrong Watson has introduced a new restructuring division, consolidated the corporate finance team from across other Yorkshire offices into Leeds and seen organic growth in both corporate and business services work as well as a record year for its financial planning and wealth management division.

The move has also opened up opportunity for the recruitment of further key individuals to help deliver the depth of services to their clients and they are not ruling out the opportunity for a further acquisition.

Mike Kienlen, lead partner said “This is a major investment for us as we believe now is the right time to demonstrate to the Leeds City Region business community our ambition to keep growing.

“We are continuing to invest in our people and commitment to provide the very best advice to all of our clients.”

Tom Riordan, chief executive of Leeds City Council said “It is very positive to see Armstrong Watson invest in their Leeds team and demonstrate their commitment to the city region’s buoyant Professional Services sector - the largest outside London.”
