Tyneside law firm assists Hartlepool sea cadets in property deal

North East law firm Square One Law has helped Hartlepool Sea Cadets secure the long-term future.

Hartlepool Sea Cadets had leased its headquarters at the town’s Marina since the purpose-built facility opened in 2000.

Thanks to a £100,000 donation from the charity, Hartlepool Youth, has ensured the Sea Cadets will have a permanent, independent base for decades to come.

Paul Harrison, Treasurer of Hartlepool Sea Cadets, said: “This is a fantastic location for the Sea Cadets and we could not have it any better being so close to the Marina and all the facilities we have here.

“With Hartlepool being such a proud maritime town, we have a very active Sea Cadets and securing ownership of our headquarters means that we can look forward to a very active future.”

Hartlepool Youth is a charitable trust that aims to improve the lives of young people by providing leisure and recreational facilities and opportunities.

Satpal Pandal, a solicitor with Square One Law, said: “It was a privilege to advise on this deal as these are two organisations with such a proud history in Hartlepool.

“It’s particularly encouraging to work with charities that have such a clear focus on providing opportunities for young people with such dedication and commitment.”
