Wakefield software firm sees sharp rise in demand
Wakefield-based software company, Schedule it, has reported a sharp increase in the number of UK businesses digitising their scheduling function to increase efficiency and productivity.
Over the last twelve months the company has sold over 2,500 licences for its online and desktop scheduling software, and seen a 235% increase of mobile users this year. .
Founder and managing director, Mark Ballance said: “Confidence is definitely growing post recession and businesses are investing to increasing their productivity. Scheduling software is a simple step to take, but one which can really streamline the workforce.
“It generally moves a business away from paper or spreadsheet based systems, which were not developed specifically for scheduling. I would suggest that this is one of the reasons for the increase in uptake.
“As the world we live in becomes increasingly digital, businesses must do or die. Companies are much more open to utilising the technology in the pockets of its workforce, and provide them with software that they can install and use from their mobile devices.
“This keeps them in touch with the office, and also empowers them to take control of their own time, resulting in a much more efficient team.
