Ricoh Arena to hold Perfect Bride shows
The UK National Midland Wedding Show is expecting to attract thousands of visitors when it hosts its first event at the Ricoh Arena.
Perfect Brides has been holding shows throughout Coventry and Warwickshire for the last five years but this is set to be their biggest and best yet.
The two-day show, from 10am-5pm on Saturday, January 17 and Sunday, January 18, will feature three daily fashion shows focused on brides, bridesmaids and the mother-of-the-bride in the Jaguar Exhibition Hall.
Over 100 exhibitors from across the UK have already signed-up to provide advice and information on products and services ranging from live music and cakes to florists and hair and beauty.
Wayne Littlewood, director of Perfect Brides, said the company had built up a reputation for providing brides-to-be and their fiancées with all the information they needed to plan their big day.
He said: “We are expecting around 5,000 visitors over the two days and we have attracted a wide range of exhibitors which includes one exhibitor travelling from Cyprus to promote the country as a honeymoon destination.
“There are also inter-active elements because we will have guest speakers who will talk about the do’s and don’ts when planning a wedding which will be really interesting.
“As well as the catwalk shows, we will have live displays to demonstrate potential entertainment as well as live music.
“We want to help guests plan their wedding day from start to finish and we pride ourselves on our attention to detail.
“Brides-to-be can try on dresses from bridal boutiques, there will be a champagne bar to sit down and chat about what you have seen and there may be a bargain or two to pick up since some exhibitors will be offering special prices on their products and services.
“This is the first show we have held on such a large scale which is why it has been months in the preparation to make sure we attract the right exhibitors for our audience and to make it the biggest and the best in the Midlands.”
Chris Owen, senior event manager at the Ricoh Arena, said there was a great selection of specialists and live elements to make the show a great success.
“Attending Perfect Brides will be ideal for couples who have become engaged over the Christmas and New Year holiday since the show will provide the A-Z of planning their big day,” he said.
“There is so much to consider that it can be overwhelming but there are plenty of experts on hand at the two-day show to provide all the help and information that you need.”
Entry is £5 per person and tickets can be bought from www.perfectbrides.co.uk
