Serenity Spa-Arkles as it’s shortlisted for top awards
A multi-award winning North East spa could soon be adding another trophy to its cabinet after making the shortlist of a top competition.
Serenity Spa at Seaham Hall, Seaham, County Durham, has made it through to the second round of the annual Regional Good Spa Guide Awards 2014 for the North of England.
The awards are given to the venue with the most public votes and now Serenity Spa is hoping the North East will help it see off competition from its fellow finalists by voting before the 31 October deadline.
Among those shortlisted alongside Serenity Spa are The Spa Hotel at Ribby Hall Village and The Woodland Spa, both at Lancashire and The Mere Golf Resort and Spa, Cheshire.
Those wanting to support Serenity Spa at Seaham Hall can cast their vote online at http://goodspaguide.co.uk/awards/2014-awards.
“It’s thanks to the vast number of votes we’ve received so far from the general public – not just here in the North East, but around the country – that we’ve made it to the regional finals,” said Seaham Hall general manager Ross Grieve.
“Now we very much hope that those who have enjoyed the Serenity Spa or who would just like to see our region triumph, will cast their vote and help us bring the trophy home.”
The results of The Good Spa Guide Awards will be announced at a ceremony in London on 18 November with the winner receiving a certificate and a specially commissioned glass trophy.
Earlier this year the Serenity Spa at five star Seaham Hall was the only spa in the region to be included in the Top Santé 100 best spas list – placing it alongside world famous venues such as Babington House in Somerset and the renowned The Ashram in California.
The Spa, which has an eastern influence, boasts a range of facilities including a crystal light sanarium, a black granite steam room and a 20 metre massage pool, while its therapists provide face and body treatments using either Elemis or Darphin products.
A range of spa packages and gift vouchers, redeemable against products and treatments is also available.
