Leeds' Clipper Logistics awarded 4 year contract to aid Whistles international growth

Leeds-based Clipper Logistics has been re-awarded a 4 year contract with women’s fashion brand Whistles to aid in the growth of the firm internationally.

Clipper will manage the receipt and distribution of its entire product range to customers worldwide, supporting the retailer’s continued growth strategy.

The contract underlines the longevity of the partnership and will allow for continued customer service excellence.

The contract includes a range of retail logistics services and will see Clipper handle stock destined for over 120 retail outlets, as well as e-commerce customers worldwide.

This new contract will, according to the company, allow Whistles to pursue their international growth strategy as the business continues to grow its customer base and sales, which includes the recent launch of a menswear range.

Steve Parkin, Clipper’s executive chairman said: “Whistles is a well-respected fashion retailer and we’re proud to have been part of their growth story.

“Our specialist retail systems and processes have allowed retailers of all sizes to take advantage of best practice supply chain.

“Whistles has been a real success story and we look forward to this contract continuing to grow over the coming years as the business reaches its next major milestones.”

The retail logistics operation will be based in Milton Keynes, where the workforce servicing the Whistles contract has already grown. Further appointments are anticipated to cope with growing sales volumes during the life of the contract.
