Sheffield property management firm Omnia creates new jobs as it expands

Sheffield property management company, Omnia Group, is continuing its growth by branching into residential lettings and opening a new office in the city centre.

Omnia Group has been providing its services for both landlords and tenants in the commercial, office and student lettings markets for a decade and due to client demand it has recently launched its residential arm ‘Omnia Lettings’.

The expansion has seen the group acquire an additional 2000 sq. foot office based on Edward Street and create five jobs to help man the new operation.

Amy Ryan at Omnia Property Group, said: “This is a very exciting time for all of us at Omnia. Historically the lettings division has concentrated on institutional investors and large privately owned property companies, which have significant property holdings.

“However, over recent months we have attracted a growing number of private landlords, this has prompted us to promote our lettings service to an even wider audience.

“We currently have an increasingly large tenant database seeking residential rental properties and around 200 properties in our private landlord portfolio. We are hoping to grow this significantly over the next 12 months and eventually make this division as large as the others we have.

“It’s great to be in a position to be able to employ more local people and to increase our presence in the region and indeed the UK.”

The nationally operating Omnia Group now employs a total of 40 staff based in Sheffield, Birmingham, Livingston, London, Bournemouth and Doncaster. It has been in operation for over a decade and has grown organically year on year.
