The Travel Visa Company reaches for the sky with Cardiff Airport contract
Crewe-based The Travel Visa Company has won a major contract to be the preferred supplier of business and tourist visas for Cardiff Airport.
This new significant partnership with Cardiff Airport will ensure both tourists and business travellers can access the correct documentation when visiting countries with specific visa requirements.
Markedly, this latest move follows hot on the heels of The Travel Visa Company being appointed earlier in the year as the preferred supplier of visas for passengers departing from Birmingham Airport.
Cardiff Airport welcomes over a million passengers a year, serving scheduled airlines and charter tour operators. The Airport offers direct flights to over 50 destinations worldwide, and more than 900 destinations are available worldwide with connections via airports such as Amsterdam Schiphol and Dublin.
Following its purchase by the Welsh Government in 2013, Cardiff Airport has undergone a number of changes and improvements to enhance the customer experience, including transforming parts the terminal building, improving the car park infrastructure and welcoming new airlines – Cityjet and Ryanair.
With over 14 years’ experience and longstanding relationships with Embassies, High Commissions and Consulates in London, Birmingham and Manchester, The Travel Visa Company will offer a bespoke service for travellers departing from Cardiff Airport, including personally collecting visas directly from embassies and delivering them to business and leisure customers.
The Travel Visa Company will feature on the Cardiff Airport’s recently launched new website alongside need-to-know visa information and details on how to apply for country specific visas directly with the specialist.
Philip Ashwell, Head of Sales at The Travel Visa Company, says: “We are thrilled to be now supporting Cardiff Airport and their passengers. It’s a major contract win for the group, and builds upon our growing sector expertise in this area. “The application process for visas can be time consuming, complicated and frustrating. We undertake the hard work for travellers and we assist in eliminating the stresses that the lengthy application process entails.
“Visa requirements are ever changing, and differ vastly from territory to territory. Our relationship with Cardiff Airport means we can ensure the public have all the correct documentation in a timely fashion prior to visiting their destination.”
As the favoured supplier to the UK’s leading travel brands, specialising in both tourist and business visas, The Travel Visa Company, founded by Karen Taylor and Ray Ward in 2005, currently employs 15 staff at its head office in Crewe and corporate visa division in Manchester city centre.
