Sale-based JCM Heating and Renewables receives £400k funding facility
Sale-based JCM Heating and Renewables (JCM), the specialist installer of gas condensing boilers, has received a £400,000 funding facility from Secure Trust Bank Commercial Finance.
The invoice finance facility means that JCM can execute its growth plans and strengthen its nationwide coverage, with the firm already set to invest in two new sites in Leeds and Newcastle.
The company, which is backed by Sale Sharks head coach Steve Diamond, employs 30 staff and has sites in Liverpool, London and Birmingham, in addition to its North West headquarters.
JCM is an accredited Green Deal installer and is currently experiencing an increase in demand following the government’s flagship energy efficiency scheme.
Secure Trust Bank is an AIM-listed challenger bank owned by Arbuthnot Banking Group.
It launched its Commercial Finance arm in September this year and has teams in Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol, the South Coast and London.
Managing director at JCM Heating and Renewables, Jon Mitten said: “As a business, our aim is to be the number one provider of gas condensing boilers in the UK.
“The additional funding line means that we now have the flexibility and cash flow in place to take us one step closer to achieving this goal.”
Regional sales director at Secure Trust Bank Commercial Finance, David Green, said: “JCM is a strong business with an excellent growth strategy looking to target further sites across the UK.
“This is a prime example of a business that has been restricted by traditional lenders, so we’re pleased to be working with the management team to help them reach their full potential.”
