Leeds events management firm XSEM has £4 million turnover in sight
Yorkshire-based event specialists XSEM has predicted it will grow turnover by more than £1 million to £4 million in 2015 after enjoying a ‘game-changing’ 12 months.
The event organisation and marketing experts, whose clients include Nisa, Molson Coors and PPG, has predicts increasing turnover to more than £4 million next year, having just posted £3 million in billings for its year ending 2014, including a net profit increase of £100k.
XSEM has expanded its operations into larger premises in Leeds’ regenerated media quarter, and launched its own dedicated marketing arm, called XSEM Insight.
The firm has also taken on four new staff, including a new business development manager in Richard McClay. It will continue its expansion into 2015 and is currently recruiting for a senior project manager.
XSEM, which was founded ten years ago by Dan Bardgett and co-owner Michael Gwilliam, is already scheduled to plan events in Holland, Tenerife and the United States in 2015.
XSEM director, Dan Bardgett says: The last 12 months has seen a period of rapid growth for us. We’ve strengthened the team considerably over that period and it has paid dividends.
“We have won some marquee accounts which we were able to deliver fantastic experiences and events for.
“We have already secured £3.5 million in advance bookings for 2015, so we can look forward building on that in the coming weeks to make it a record breaking year for us.”
The predicted £4 million turnover more than doubles the £1.9 million in billings the company posted in 2013.
