South Manchester Marketing Agency Scoops National Award!

Congleton–based TMC Strategic Communications have secured top spot for best in Corporate Communications at the national Recommended Agency Register (RAR) Awards final held in London last week.

Up against much larger agencies from across the UK, success in any category is a fantastic accolade. TMC are very proud to have been recognised for Corporate Communications as it reflects their specialism in and passion for business-to-business strategy and communications. “We are thrilled to receive industry endorsement for our hard work and fantastic client relationships,” said TMC Managing Director Tim McCloud, “These awards are especially close to our hearts as they are voted for by our clients and are a direct result of what we achieve for those same clients.”

The Recommended Agency Register (RAR) is the marketing industry’s leading independent governing body with a database of over 6000 agencies. Offering consultancy services to clients, to support or lead their agency selection process, RAR invites clients to provide ratings and testimonials on registered agencies. From this, finalists for each award category are selected based on ratings received for each category.

Formed in 2006, TMC are based on Congleton Business Park in Cheshire and work with a broad spectrum of clients including Siemens, BMW, MINI, ECCO, Lilly, ESMO and Hologic. Employing a team of 14 staff the company has continued to grow, adding new clients to its portfolio and planning further expansion this year.

TMC were finalists for the following 7 categories - brand strategy, client service, corporate communications, effectiveness, public relations, sponsorship and events – reflecting the fundamental principles of our approach to client work. Representing TMC were Directors Tim and Jan McCloud, Business Development Director Jackie Jones and Account Director Kate Quirk who enjoyed the fantastic atmosphere and meeting agencies from all over the country, with TMC’s lively social media interactions setting the live Twitter waterfall alight.
