Record revenues for Middleton-based Working Time Solutions

Working Time Solutions, which employs 35 people, is opening a second office in Manchester due to increased demand for its software and services from large employers resulting in record revenues.

The Middleton-based company has reported revenues increasing by 25% over the last 12 months with turnover reaching £2.85m for the year.

The 1,200 sq ft premises in Sevendale House on Dale Street will be home to Working Time Solutions’ team of software developers.

The company uses data insights to plan and manage shift patterns to improve productivity and works across a diverse range of industries.

It has a client base which includes Unilever, Babcock International, Premier Foods, Wales & West Utilities, Thames Water, London Ambulance Service, Cheshire West & Chester Council and Dublin Airport Authority.

Managing director of Working Time Solutions, Kevin White, said: “Workforce optimisation is a high growth market driven by large organisations needing to increase productivity and service quality whilst improving skills retention, Corporate Social Responsibility and employee wellbeing.

“Existing HR software and rudimentary Excel-based systems are ill-equipped to deliver the sort of resourcing flexibility and responsiveness that unlocks transformative efficiency gains and creates a healthier, happier workforce.

“Our unique blend of insight and software has come to the fore as it allows clients to design, implement manage and maintain working patterns which are closely aligned to the changing needs of both the organisation and its employees.

“We’re focused on capitalising on our market-leading position by re-investing in our people and the software, both of which remain central to our success.”
