Sheffield software firm secures orders worth of £1m in the rail industry
3Squared, a Sheffield-based software company, has secured orders worth over £1m for its new RailSmart software products.
The RailSmart suite of products are in high demand from train and rail companies is designed to deliver both time and efficiency benefits.
In particular, there has been a high sale rate for the company’s RailSmart EDS product, which is a web and mobile app that helps rail companies manage and improve the skills and competences of their staff.
Other products that have been generating a high number of sales include RailSmart: Collaborator, which is s designed to improve efficiency, transparency and reporting; RailSmart: Documents, which allows the rail operator to digitise the distribution of documents, notices and communication and RailSmart: Forms, which is used for reporting defects and to boost data capture and increase accuracy and efficiency.
Also included in the RailSmart suite is RailSmart: Hub, which organises roster details, documents, forms and notifications into a one place, allowing drivers and other staff to respond to matters that need attention, and RailSmart: Web Manager, which is a web portal for administration of the RailSmart: Collaborator Apps.
