Endless Creations with Cement Tiles

If you really want to experiment with flooring there is no comparison to cement tiles. Patterns in geometrical shapes or floral displays are innumerable and with different colours the variations are truly endless. These tiles originally used in homes are increasingly being used in commercial buildings. The history of cement tiles is not old and had its beginning in France in the middle of 19th century. It spread out fast to surrounding nations of Spain, Portugal and Italy and even to Morocco and United States.

Popularity bred by brilliance

The popularity of these tiles spread fast since it had a very distinctive appeal. With use of cement tiles even floors became an aspect of interest for a building. With passage of years, these tiles started to be use in construction of commercial buildings. There are several commercial constructions in leading European cities where you could catch the brilliance of cement tiles. Cement tile flooring is particularly beneficial for commercial complexes as they are durable and colour fast. Even after decades the brightness of colours of these tiles remains as good as new. They are easy to maintain as they are washable. Thus it is only obvious that more and more office buildings would have cement tile flooring in the future.
