Cramlington cloud computing company expands to larger premises

Cramlington-based SITS Group and its sister company Pivotal Networks, providers of cloud computing solutions, have relocated to larger premises.

Expanding to a neighbouring building at Berrymoor Court, situated on Northumberland Business Park, SITS’ latest investment was supported with a Let’s Grow Regional Growth Fund Grant, organised and facilitated by BE Group..

The move to 5250sq ft Cirrus House is the fourth for the company, which counts Fire and Rescue Services, Police Forces, Law Firms and Manufacturers amongst its client, and marks a new phase in its growth.

Phil Cambers, SITS Group’s commercial director, said: “The business has expanded rapidly to include national and international clients and we were fast outgrowing our 2250sq ft offices.

“However, Northumberland Business Park has been a great base for us as it offers excellent parking, transport links and superb build quality, so we were delighted when developer, Gladman Developments, proposed Cirrus House.”

The company attributes its success to an early decision to provide a highly specialist service.

“Our customers really value the depth of our knowledge ,” said Phil “and now we hope this move will give us the opportunity to grow and potentially to double our existing 30-strong workforce to meet the ongoing demands of our ever growing customer base.”

SITS Group and Pivotal Networks are expected to announce a turnover in the region of £6m for 2014-15 when their year-end accounts have been completed.
