FatFace lands in Woking, Surrey
Retailer FatFace is set to open a new site in Surrey, which will open this autumn.
The new 2,500 sq ft store will open in Woking’s Peacocks Centre, close by to Superdry, Monsoon and Jones.
FatFace joins other key clothing brands at Woking Shopping including Superdry, Top Shop, Next and H&M. In addition, Carluccio’s, Bill’s Restaurant and Las Iguanas have all opened in Woking Shopping in the last six months.
Offering a range of clothing and accessories for men, women and children, FatFace launched in 1988 as a business selling t-shirts and sweatshirts in the Alps.
Tim Buckley of Moyallen, asset manager of the Peacocks, said: “FatFace is the latest addition to our fast growing line-up of aspirational fashion and lifestyle brands.
“Together with the significant additions to our dining offer, Woking Shopping has a growing regional appeal that is attracting ever-increasing numbers of visitors. We are confident FatFace will be a great success, and that it will help to attract similar premium brands.”
Robert Moore, Acquisitions Manager at FatFace, added: “FatFace continues to perform well and this latest addition in Woking supports our growth strategy of adding excellent new markets to the portfolio.
“Improvements in the centre in recent years, and investment from its owners, led the brand to re-evaluate the location, which now provides us with an exciting opportunity. We are very much looking forward to opening later this year.”
Nash Bond and JLL acted for Woking Shopping. GCW represented FatFace.
