Ringtons awarded Matfen Hall Hotel contract
Matfen Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa has appointed Ringtons as the sole supplier of hot beverages.
The deal will see the Newcastle-headquarted tea and coffee company supply all teas, coffees, infusions and ancillaries for the 53 in-room hot drink facilities, luxury spa, Conservatory Bar, AA rosette Library Restaurant, The Keepers Lodge gastro pub as well as conference and private dining facilities.
Ringtons Beverages has also installed a branded bean-to-cup vending tower in the venue’s popular driving range, and a state-of-the-art bean to cup machine in the golf club’s ‘19th hole’ The Keeper’s Lodge; ensuring Ringtons’ quality Fairtrade tea and coffee is served throughout the venue.
Speaking of the contract expansion, Stephen Drysdale head of Ringtons Beverages said: “Ringtons has been supplying Matfen Hall with tea for a number of years now and as we’ve seen the venue grow and the accolades come flooding in, we are delighted to have strengthened our own relationship with the team in order to offer a comprehensive and competitive solution for all of their beverage needs.
“Due to our long standing relationship with the team at Matfen, not only do they know our beverages are going to be the best quality, but they were confident we had a solution to suit every guest need, so whether it’s a great coffee at breakfast, a cuppa with afternoon tea or a calming camomile in the spa, we have the product range to suit.
“To be able to say that one of the finest venues in the north east is 100% Ringtons is a huge honour for us and we look forward to many more years working together.”
Peter Dawson, Food and Beverages Manager for Matfen Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa added: “Ringtons has consistently provided us with great quality tea so when we were looking to use a uniform hot beverage solution across every element of our catering facilities Ringtons Beverages was the obvious choice.
“The service we have received from Ringtons has always been fantastic and the advice and support in sourcing the right products, and in choosing barista machinery and vending equipment during this contract expansion, has been invaluable. Using local suppliers like Ringtons also sits perfectly with our belief in the quality and high standards of the food services and hospitality industry in the north east and we are delighted to have grown our partnership.”
