The Blue Bandit Shootout targets SMEs in North Yorkshire
North Tyneside-based husband and wife, Steven & Roni Pattinson, are looking to expand their video production company, Blue Bandit Media, in the North by launching in Richmond later this month.
Founded in April 2014, Blue Bandit Media specializes in high-quality promotional videos for a wide range of clients, providing an online presence for products, services or the business as a whole.
In May and June last year, Steven and Roni seeked out the help of Arrow Sales, a Newcastle-based firm that helps SMEs improve their overall performance by boosting sales and increasing profits. The duo found the guidance from Arrow Sales incredibly beneficial, and worked with the firm again in February and March of this year.
Since working with Arrow Sales, more specifically Michael McMeekin, Blue Bandit Media has attained 10 new clients and experienced a sales increase of around 60%.
The duo, who previously worked on film production on sets of shorts, feature films and web series, have since launched the new service The Blue Bandit Shootout in April 2015.
The Blue Bandit Shootout caters for micro businesses and SMEs who have previously found video production cost-prohibiting. The service was created to make sure small businesses are able to reap the benefits of online videos, which include a SEO boost, increased social media engagement and can be used as part of a content marketing strategy.
Six businesses each day buy a slot, come to a single location in front of a green screen and film their video, with backgrounds, text and graphics to be applied afterwards on request. Prices start at £179+VAT for the classic package and £229+VAT for the premium package.
The Shootout service will be launched at the IPS Innovate Centre in Richmond, North Yorkshire, on September 14th.
Steven Pattinson said: “We spent a lot of time over the past year talking to small businesses at networking events, and everyone realises the potential and now the need to use video online, but some found that hiring ourselves or another video company for a day wouldn’t fit into their budget. So by taking inspiration from places like Groupon and Wowcher, we created The Blue Bandit Shootout allowing businesses to split the cost between them.
“Michael at Arrow Sales really helped us to understand the needs of small businesses, and how to make them aware of the benefits in the service we’re offering. Above all else he gave us the confidence in talking about and positioning the Shootout as a solution to a problem that exists.”
Michael added: “It’s great to see such an exciting new business continue to grow, and launching in Richmond’s IPS Innovate Centre is the perfect fit for Blue Bandit Media.
“It was a pleasure working with Steven and Roni, and the success of The Blue Bandit Shootout is a reflection of their hard work, and our successful collaboration. I’m looking forward to see how much Blue Bandit Media can grow in the future.”
