Global becomes first to sign up for XYZ Spinningfields space
Property investment firm Allied London has announced the first tenant to sign up for space at its XYZ building in the centre of Manchester.
Global, the media and entertainment group that includes radio stations Classic FM, Heart and Capital, will establish a new North West hub by taking up 16,699 sq ft across the Spinningfields building’s top two levels.
The CEO of Global, Stephen Miron, said: “The XYZ building is a great fit for Global’s culture offering a dynamic workplace.
“We are delighted to be Allied London’s first signing and we look forward to moving into our new home in the heart of Spinningfields.”
Once work on the XYZ building is complete in Autumn 2016, Global’s space will be turned into studios from which Heart and Capital will be able to broadcast live.
Allied London’s chief executive, Michael Ingall, said: “We have several other parties in detailed negotiations for XYZ, all of whom understand the concept and are able to define the difference in the XYZ workspace offering.
“Global have really grasped the concept of XYZ and we look forward to seeing how they engage with XYZ.”
