North West training provider expands with new executive brand

A North West training provider has expanded by establishing a new executive arm focussed on organisational strategy development and senior leadership training.

Blackburn-headquartered Training 2000 has announced the launch of Silverback, which will be headed by the firm’s director, Neil Gutteridge.

Neil said: ’To further develop [the leadership and management] side of the business we decided to create a new brand that would appeal to […] large organisations and really clarify our key services.

“By introducing a new brand with a modern and high quality ethos, we can reconnect with our existing customers as well as inspire new ones.”

Established nearly 50 years ago, Training 2000 has 11 centres across the North West and training contracts in Derby, London and locations overseas. Today, the firm employs close to 300 members of staff.

The new business will be run by a team composed of the firm’s existing staff, its newly formed Communications and Marketing departments and two new business development managers.

Neil continued: “Silverback will facilitate strategic change by aligning business performance strategy with individualised training.

“By diversifying our offering and using one brand to work with organisations nationally in partnership who are committed to achieving agility and growth, we are building on our history and experience, not losing it.”
