Industry Leaders in Risk Management Announce Joint Venture
Two of the UK’s leading independent risk management consultancies have this week announced their plans to collaborate to create an industry leading new business offering.
CRA and Synergy Consultants claim that the new business offering will be entirely unique in providing a fully integrated Safety Case, Risk Analysis and Human Factors offering - which they are convinced will be second to none.
Dr. Les Ainsworth, Managing Director and business owner of Synergy, will be supporting CRA in developing the Human Factors/Human Reliability Analysis Business Sector which will be fully integrated into the Safety Case and Risk Business Sectors.
Les has led a distinguished career spanning over 40 years within the Human Factors sector and has built up a strong reputation for the practical application of ergonomics and psychology to complex industrial processes and systems in the Defence and Nuclear Sectors. He has also successfully carved out a niche expertise in Human Reliability, Safety Case and Task Analysis and was integral in the publication of the much referenced ‘A Guide to Task Analysis’.
Speaking about the new business, Jasbir Sidhu, Chief Executive of CRA said: “We are thrilled to have joined forces with Synergy Consulting and are very excited by the journey that lies ahead of us. We firmly believe that, in our offering, we have what we think will be one of, if not, the strongest integrated Safety, Risk and Human Factors approach in the industry and, with our already hugely experienced team, feel we can really bring something to the market place that delivers a new and innovative approach.”
The highly successful Synergy specialises in a wide range of topics such as Human Machine Interaction, Operating Procedures Design, Alarm Analysis, Operator Stress and Human Error Quantification to name but a few. This is combined with more than a decade of CRA’s successful service delivery on behalf of clients that include the MOD and the big six energy providers.
“I am very excited about this next step in both our businesses and very much look forward to cooperating in this venture - it will be a major force in delivering key insights to clients where the human being is positioned firmly at the centre of the process” added Dr Ainsworth.
It is anticipated that the newly developed offering to the market place will be rolled out imminently such that client engagement can take place promptly.
CRA has offices throughout the UK in Newcastle, Warrington, Gloucester, London and Surrey and employs 40 staff.
