Xoomworks opens new outsourcing centre in Sofia, Bulgaria

Xoomworks Technology Outsourcing is gearing up for significant growth with the opening of a new Nearshore Outsourcing Centre in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Xoomworks Technology Outsourcing provides nearshore teams to tech-driven companies in the gaming, travel and finance sectors.

The Sofia office is Xoomworks’ second Nearshore Outsourcing Centre and follows on from the success of its first office in Cluj, Romania. The office was officially opened with a party for 50 staff, clients and suppliers on September 16, 2015.

The new facility will expand Xoomworks Technology Outsourcing’s capabilities in terms of Application Development and Quality Assurance. The new facility will also help Xoomworks continue to achieve its ambitions for 40 per cent year on year growth.

London-based Xoomworks chose Bulgaria for its latest office opening for its base of highly skilled developers, strong English skills, cultural compatibility, EU membership and small time difference from the UK. Bulgaria is ranked the 9th top outsourcing destination in AT Kearney’s 2014 Global Services Location Index.

As well as the new centre opening, Xoomworks Technology Outsourcing is also celebrating its inclusion in the shortlist for the National Outsourcing Association Awards. Xoomworks has reached the final six in the Outsourcing SME of the Year category at the prestigious awards, which honour companies demonstrating innovation and best practice in outsourcing. The winner will be announced on November 19 at the Landmark Hotel in London.
