Global software business LogicNow continues expansion with Newcastle move
Dundee-headquartered IT firm, LogicNow has chosen Newcastle’s Generator Studios as its new North East base.
Advised by commercial property consultants Naylors, the cloud-based IT service management solutions considered a number of buildings in Newcastle city centre before opting for a 2,284sqft office suite within the Metnor owned property located on Trafalgar Street.
LogicNow provides over 12,000 Managed Service Providers and IT support companies with the integrated management platform that delivers comprehensive remote monitoring and management capabilities with integrated email security, hybrid cloud backup and recovery, and full-featured service management functionality.
The company which has offices across the globe, including North America, Europe and Australia, says the new office space in Newcastle will provide the ideal location for its continued expansion.
Stephen Garland, Senior VP of engineering at LogicNow said: “With a reputation for having a strong and vibrant technology scene, Newcastle seemed like the natural choice for the latest addition to our tech hubs. We have seen tremendous growth in our business over the last five years fuelled by innovation in our product range. Our new base at Generator Studios will provide an ideal location from which to drive that growth. We are now looking to expand our data scientist and engineering teams in Newcastle.”
Simon Taylor, head of office agency at Naylors, added: “From our first meeting it was clear that LogicNow required a building that not only offered a good city centre location but also a modern, flexible workspace to accommodate their growth over the next few years. Generator Studios certainly offers that together with an innovative interior design and the benefit of communal services such as a dedicated staffed reception, meeting rooms and catering facilities.”
