Golf buggy firm drives online profile
Golf buggy manufacturer Fairway Rider has put itself ahead of the field after web design agency Dreamscape gave the Warrington-based business a greater internet presence with a new website.
Fairway Rider, which manufactures and markets the eco-friendly single seat G3 golf buggy, required a website which appealed to its older client base, and additionally it needed to be optimised for e-commerce orders for both the G3 itself and the service and spares back-up.
The three-wheeled electric G3 is targeted at less mobile golfers, and can be folded and transported easily opening up the sport to players who are not able to cover an 18-hole course on foot.
Warrington-based Dreamscape designed a sales optimisation process for the Fairway Rider website, which ensured key decision making factors, such as product information, were considered when laying out the website content. The new website also had to be easy to navigate.
The website, which is optimised for tablet and mobile viewing, was built on a content management system, enabling Fairway Rider to make updates and changes when required.
Bernard McCabe, Managing Director of Dreamscape, says: “The Fairway Rider website needed to be easy to find, understood and liked by their target market, which meant it was important that our design concepts focused on hitting the right notes with senior golfers. To give you some idea, there are well over 700 UK searches per month made on Google for ‘single seater golf buggies’.
“The website was designed and developed to convert the highest possible number of visitors into enquiries or orders.”
Bernard adds: “Through our sales optimisation planning process, we identified that the website should clearly demonstrate the level of support and after sales service available to customers. This stimulates confidence in potential customers and also reduces internal support time.”
Shaun Leatherbarrrow from Fairway Rider says: “The new website is clear, informative and demonstrates our commitment to customer service. The G3 is a high quality product and the website now reflects that.”
