Intermarketing Agency expands with three new offices in three months

Leeds-headquartered Intermarketing Agency is continuing to expand with the opening three new offices in London, Amsterdam and Sydney in the last three months.

The creative agency has sustained growth of 20% in underlying profit year-on-year for the last three years. 2015 has been a year of accelerated expansion with the acquisition of Teabag Digital in January, more award wins for its service, a significant increase in work outside of the UK, and now the expansion into new territories.

The company’s offices in London and Amsterdam will support existing client growth in the UK and across Europe and open up new opportunities.

Furthermore, the agency is also recruiting new talent in these locations to open up an even wider creative pool to support its clients, regardless of their geographical location.

In Sydney, Intermarketing Agency has identified a gap in the agency landscape, which it aims to fill with its retail expertise. With existing client relationships and a network of talent already in place, the addition of an Australian office will complement the agency’s global presence.

Jamie Allan and Steve Sowden, Intermarketing Agency, group managing partners, said: “As an independently run organisation, we have the vast experience, solid commitment, unparalleled motivation and inspiring creativity to produce compelling and profitable campaigns worldwide. Our clients are increasingly seeking opportunities to roll out campaigns in a global market and we’re making it happen, wherever they and their customers are.

“We’ve established a network of talented people based in London, the Netherlands and Australia and are actively recruiting in each location. It’s important that we experience each culture first-hand, employing people who have experience in the regions in which we’re marketing.”

While commenting on Australia, Steve Sowden added: “We’re excited for our new offices and the opportunities they present, particularly the business in Australia. The time has never been better to launch into the Australian market, as the company experiences an ever-increasing interest from the Oceania region. The Australian market is an exciting place to be right now as many businesses are looking for an all-encompassing service and fresh ideas.

“Like many major cities Sydney and Melbourne are saturated with large, network-owned creative agencies, meaning clients struggle to find an agency that can support them day-to-day in delivering campaigns. This is a great chance for us to share our experience and know-how in the European retail sector to add value to Australian retailers.”
