Wakefield telecoms specialist achieves £4m turnover
NGC Networks, the telecoms specialist, has increased turnover to £4m following another strong financial year.
This marks a 20% year-on-year rise in turnover for the Wakefield-based company, which provides telecommunications solutions and internet connectivity to companies across the North of England.
The business, run by directors Nikki Guest and Dean Harrop, has maintained profitability and is pushing ahead with expansion plans, including staff recruitment.
NGC Networks’ growing client portfolio includes Superbreak Holidays, Manning Stainton, Puma UK, Animalcare, Lowell Group, Bradford Bulls and The Car People.
Dean Harrop said: “By combining the latest business telephony solutions and internet technology with unrivalled levels of customer service, we have been able to retain clients and attract new business.
“We have to stay on our toes because our market is fiercely competitive. There is pressure to reduce costs from both ends of the supply chain. We are also helping our customers to address important legislative changes, such as the recent Ofcom regulations around non-geographic numbers and UK calling.”
NGC also specialises in delivering telecoms solutions to the education sector, which help schools to improve communications and save money.
The business recently implemented a phased replacement of legacy telephone systems for schools within the Outwood Grange Academies Trust and is working with the Leeds-based Gorse Academies Trust.
NGC has has secured a sponsorship deal with league champions Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
