Fulcrum signs new ten year commitment to Sheffield

Fulcrum, the independent energy and multi-utilities service provider, has reaffirmed its commitment to Sheffield after agreeing a new 10-year lease extension for its headquarters in the city.

Fulcrum’s recent growth has been supported by a number of significant wins in H1 including a £3.95m contract to install a 13-kilometre gas pipeline to four Speyside distilleries on behalf of Chivas Brothers, Diageo and Ian MacLeod Distillers.

The company has been based in Sheffield Business Park for the past four years, and is home to 50% of its 200-strong, UK-wide workforce. The park was the hub for a significant programme of change within the business during the last 12 months to transition to a directly managed project delivery service.

this new model enables the company to increase the pace of its growth strategy, which includes building its multi-utility capabilities and assembling its first in-house dual fuel teams, who are trained in the delivery of both gas and electricity connections.
