Parola Breaks Down the Barriers of Sound on International Music Day

New iOS music app invites everyone to discover ’the building blocks of music’ by creating and collaborating on an open music platform

To celebrate International Music Day, Parola launches its unique music app on iOS, transforming the way music enthusiasts discover and create music. Parola’s patented technology enables everyone to collaborate, record and remix separate tracks of songs in the music catalog, which traditionally was only accessible through professional recording studios. Users worldwide can create a song together by adding vocals and instruments to classic hits, as well as collaborating on new tracks using their iOS device.

To demonstrate Parola’s ease of use, and how to access the building blocks of music on the Parola platform, a cover of an iconic American song was created by an early user. The vocal inspired two other users to remix it – creating three entwined versions in separate genres – HipHop/Trap, Country and EDM.

Parola’s collaborative music app is easy and intuitive. Some of the features of the app include:

• Studio-like sound: record and remix songs using only your mobile device and no expensive equipment needed. Parola’s cloudbase studio does all the work for you, so that you can focus on the music.
• Remix tracks: Every song in the Parola catalog can be remixed. Discover the separate multi-tracks within each song and be inspired to create your own music.
• Collaboration without limits: Create music with other users across the globe in near real-time. Invite other musicians to record with you, publish your music for the world to discover, and get recognition for your musical creations.
• Discover new talent: Give other users feedback on their work and give recognition to talent by upvoting your favorite songs with Parola’s “groovy” button.
