Winn Solicitors PA Shortlisted for Prestigious Award

Janet McCrindle, Personal Assistant to the Managing Director Jeff Winn of Winn Solicitors, has been shortlisted for the Best Event Organiser Award at the prestigious Executive PA Magazine Awards in London.

Janet was shortlisted following the impressive Winn Solicitors summer party, which she organised for staff and business contacts. Hundreds of people attended the event, which was a great success.

The party took place at Jeff Winn’s home, The Towers. Janet arranged and sourced everything from scratch, including invitations, bands, bar staff, alcohol, accommodation and marquee arrangements. With no bench mark to go from, Janet relied on her initiative to ensure a fantastic event for all.

Despite bad weather on the day, which caused the marquee to blow over, Janet made alternative arrangements, and ensured that the event ran seamlessly and that all guests thoroughly enjoyed the occasion.

The award ceremony will take place in Pall Mall, London on Wednesday 14th October. With a black tie dress code, an eight-piece orchestra, gala dinner and dazzling entertainment, it will be a fantastic setting in which to celebrate Janet’s achievements. Other candidates shortlisted in this category include PAs from high profile brands including The Discovery Channel and Britvic Soft Drinks.

Managing Director Jeff Winn, said: “Janet has been my PA for seven years and is fantastic in the role – she is an integral part of the company. Over the years she has successfully managed many projects, but the summer party has been one of her biggest and greatest accomplishments to date, by far. The event was the first of its kind for the firm, and Janet has certainly set the bar for future events. It was a fabulous evening that all of the guests enjoyed thoroughly. Congratulations Janet.”
