Pentagon Motor Group creates 20 jobs with new Doncaster dealership
Pentagon Motor Group continues to drive expansion in Doncaster with the opening of its latest Alfa Romeo and Jeep dealership.
This acquisition, which follows the opening of the group’s Lincoln Vauxhall, Citroen, Dacia, Jeep, Mazda and Renault dealership last month, has been financially supported by The Royal Bank of Scotland.
Based on Wheatley Hall Road, the Doncaster dealership has created 20 new jobs under the general management of Mike Cox, including: sales, admin, after sales and management.
An extensive refurbishment transformed the new dealership to the same standards of the existing 33 sites in the group, which are located across Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Nottinghamshire, Lancashire and Lincolnshire.
Headquartered in Barlborough, Pentagon Motor Group has been operating since 1991. The group now boasts a £440m turnover, and employs 954 people across the North of England.
Trevor Reeve, managing director of Pentagon Motor Group, said: “I believe the future is looking bright for both Alfa Romeo and Jeep, and with the opening of this new state-of-the-art dealership in Doncaster we are looking forward to showing the local community here what an exciting range of cars and 4x4’s we have on offer.
“We have enjoyed a 24 year relationship with The Royal Bank of Scotland since we started out with our first dealership in Derby. With their industry knowledge and desire to back our continued expansion, we have achieved year on year growth which is set to continue.”
David Mitchell, relationship director of Motor Retail at The Royal Bank of Scotland, added: “We have a very positive customer relationship with Trevor and the management team at Pentagon, which has instilled great confidence in us to invest at each stage of their expansion.
“They are a forward thinking group of individuals who continue to recognise new markets and capitalise on the geographic opportunities that are presented to them to help them drive business growth.”
