Chester firm ADVANCE targets growth as revenues rise
Revenues at Cheshire-based workforce management company ADVANCE have hit a record £52m.
The Chester firm saw its turnover for the 12 months to March 2015 rise year-on-year by 18%, marking five consecutive years of growth for the company since it was founded in 2010.
Now, ADVANCE is aiming to hit £70m in sales by March next year.
Founder and joint MD Tim Hunt has attributed the growth figures to a surge in the number ADVANCE’s recruitment agency clients, as well as expansion into new areas.
Mr Hunt said: “These results are testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire ADVANCE team over the past five years.
“One major success story of recent times has been the dramatic increase in demand for our accountancy services from contractors and freelancers who run their own limited company.”
He added: “This is something we’ll be looking to build on further in the coming months and years on the back of some unique features developed by ADVANCE for this sector.”
ADVANCE currently employs more than 40 people at its head office, where it recently carried out a five-figure refurbishment programme.
Joint managing director Shaun Critchley, who was appointed to the firm’s board at the end of August, said: “As a management team we feel the business is in extremely good shape, with solid foundations and plenty of scope for further growth.
“We’re looking to the future with ambition and confidence, and are determined to fulfil our potential.”
He continued: “A major focus for the next 12 months will be to identify and embrace smarter ways of working as we seek to provide a truly world-class service at all times.”
