Music App

Apple’s mobiles updated to iOS 9 now know that you want to play music. The music app starts automatically as you plug your iPhone to headphones, connect to Bluetooth speakers or plug into a dock. You can directly open the music app from the lock screen or right from the bottom of the app Switcher.

Low Power Mode

Low Power Mode is the feature that shuts down different activities on your device such as mail fetch, background app refresh, automatic download and various other visual effects. The device will ask if you want to toggle on Low Power Mode when the battery hits 20% (and again at 10%). If it is turned out, it will automatically be turned off when your iPhone is charged back up to 80%.

Wallet shortcut New update also brings the feature to launch the Wallet even if your phone is locked. Double tap the home button and you are ready to use wallet. Quick Access to “Selfies” and “Screenshots”

There are two new smart photo albums: one for screenshot and other one for selifies. The screenshots captured automatically go into “Screenshot” album and selifes captured into the “Selfie” album.

Six-digit Passcodes

With new OS update to iPhone devices, users can change their four digit pass-code to six-digit pass-code. Adding 2 more digits makes it possible to have a secure pass-code from over a million different combinations.

New Shift Key

A New Shift Key has been added and it allows you to do capitalization of every letter on your keyboard.

“The Back Button“

At the top of left of the screen, a new feature called “The Back Button” has been added which allows you to quickly go to the previous apps.

Searchable Settings

Now you need not to think about where you stopped the screen from automatically turning off. The “Search Bar” setting will find it for you.

Split View (iPad Only) Split view feature is available only for iPad devices (Air 2, Mini 4, and Pro). You can now use two apps at once. All you need to do is swipe from the right side of the screen when the device in landscape mode. You will be able to see all apps compatible get opened in split view.
