Digital marketing service aims for growth following Featherbank Court move

Smart Insights, the digital marketing training and consultancy service, has relocated to Featherbank Court in Horsforth as part of its expansion strategy.

The business has moved headquarters as it looks to create three more jobs, and is on track to grow revenues by 50% this year, the fourth year of growth in a row.

Initially a virtual business dependent on freelance staff, the team has grown from two to six since June with a further three positions planned in the next twelve months.

Established in 2010 by Stuart Miller and Dr Dave Chaffey, Smart Insights helps businesses globally to plan, manage and optimise their digital marketing strategy.

Since being launched, the business has grown every year and now boasts a customer base of 148,000 members in 80 countries. The site receives over 370,000 visits each month worldwide and these numbers will continually grow with a 40% year on year increase expected.

Stuart Miller, co-founder, said: “Our industry moves incredibly fast, so we have to too. This year we reached a point where it made sense to invest in offices and employees to accelerate growth further and support the business we already have.

“We wanted to be in the Leeds area and Featherbank Court was perfect. I’ve looked at lots of serviced offices but Featherbank was different - really great facilities and a fixed price.

“Plus with the growth we have planned, an office offering flexibility was what we needed. Our employees are accelerating our growth, making us much more agile, and I’m pleased to say that as a result we’re on target to grow revenues in excess of 50% this year.”

Featherbank Court provides 3,000 sq ft of serviced office space that can accommodate two to 18 people. Rental terms can run from several days to long-term lets and the offices come with free parking and the option to use Park House, on Park Square in Leeds city centre, as a primary business address.
