Jump Jet Set For Manchester Young Talent Awards
The Manchester Young Talent Awards (MYTA) were created to recognise and showcase the successful young business people in Greater Manchester. And now in their 6th year they’re looking to cement that credibility with their new headline sponsors Cube3 under the imposing gaze of a Harrier Jump Jet.
This year’s award ceremony will be taking place at the stunning Imperial War Museum North on the 19th November, where JCI Manchester and Cube3 will be welcoming over 300 of Manchester’s finest for an evening of celebration and inspiration - shining a light on the city’s future business stars.
Cube3, the marketing agency on Princess Street, who work with entrepreneurial individuals and brands from Rohan to Revolution Bars, sees the MYTA as a platform that celebrates what’s important in business.
“We don’t want to play around the edges”, shares Cube3’s CEO Karl Barker, “we’re immersing ourselves in everything Manchester has to offer for commercial innovators. And the MYTA are a beacon of recognition for creative thought and action - building business - which is what Cube3 is all about.”
Kim Holden, President of Junior Chamber International (Manchester), the group of youthful entrepreneurs behind the awards, said; “Each year we’re stunned by the quality of applications and by the support of Manchester’s business community. But this year truly demonstrates how Manchester embraces its own talent with a desire to celebrate their achievements.”
Up for Business Development Professional of the Year, Adam Beacock, Senior Business Development Executive at Manchester City FC told us; “In business development you’re generally judged on the revenue that you bring into the business. It’s a great honor to be recognized by not only my peers who nominated me at MCFC but also by a wider audience of peers through the MYTA.”
Previous winner, Chris Marsh, Director of Partner Development at UKFast says “I was extremely honoured to be recognised for my hard work as a young person in Manchester. And a big part of my role now is showing school children, college and university students that making a positive impact is something achievable.”
Tickets are still available and the after-party venue will be announced soon.
