Cheshire firm Ansa delivers £45k Antrobus Gardens makeover
Cheshire-based environmental services firm Ansa has delivered a five-figure makeover of Antrobus Gardens in Congleton.
The £45k work included hard and soft landscaping, as well as improved access to the gardens and nearby Readesmoor Medical Centre.
John Hammond, the chairman of council-owned Ansa Environmental Services, said of the overhaul: “This is a great example of how Ansa works closely and effectively with partners to deliver real improvements for residents.
“We have some highly skilled people working for us that can help improve the public environment for everybody.”
The designs for the health-themed park included two pieces of outdoor exercise equipment, fruit-bearing foliage planted among the ornamental greenery and a wooden archway carved out of oak.
Julia Byrne, a parks and management officer at Ansa, designed and led the project in consultation with local organisations Congleton Partnership and Congleton in Bloom.
The project was funded with a combination of cash from Congleton Partnership, Readesmoor Medical Centre and 106 contributions.
