Metronet (UK) rolls out hybrid internet network to Preston
Manchester-based internet service provider Metronet (UK) has expanded its offering with the launch of a next-generation hybrid internet network in Preston.
The connectivity rollout, which follows a recent expansion in Wigan, will allow businesses in Preston to access internet speeds of between 1Mbps and 10Gbps in a mix of fibre and high-capacity wireless technology.
The company chose Preston for its “thriving business community” and the presence of the University of Central Lancashire.
Metronet (UK)’s head of property and acquisitions, Kate Rennicks, said: “Metronet (UK) is already working with a number of leading organisations in Preston.
“We are confident that our reliable solution and excellent customer service will ensure further growth within the region.”
