B&M Waste Services announces job creation and £1m investment

Recycling-led waste management firm B&M Waste Services has increased its team by four and announced plans to invest £1m at its Trafford Park facility.

To further drive its commitment to achieving zero waste to landfill, the company is installing a new CKTR121XL-120-59 twin ram baler and conveyor to boost its waste management capacity by 25k tonnes a year.

B&M Waste Services’ MD, Neil Curtis, said: “We are always looking for innovative solutions to avoid landfill which is not only expensive for our customers but also damaging to the environment.

“We opened our RDF facility at Trafford Park in 2014 and since then our expansion has called for further investment in equipment, such as our new baler and wrapper, to accommodate our growth in customers across the Greater Manchester region.”

He added: “The good news is that the additional equipment and growth in customers has meant the creation of four new jobs, and as we continue to grow we anticipate next year will see a further growth in jobs.”

B&M Waste Services operates nine locations across the UK, including facilities in Wigan, Warrington, Liverpool and Widnes.
