Revival of corporate hospitality market significantly boosts Leeds event planner
Leeds-based event planner Dine has benefitted from a resurgent corporate hospitality market after posting a group turnover of £2.37m.
A strong performance for the financial year ending in October 2015, was boosted by year-on-year growth for Dine’s outside catering division Dine Events, which increased turnover to £1.15m.
Dine provides bespoke hospitality, event and venue management to clients and partner venues throughout the North.
The event planner firm’s flagship venue The Mansion in Roundhay Park, which it jointly developed with Leeds City Council, also performed strongly over the winter period.
Daniel Gill, Dine managing director, said: “As the business world experiences an upswing in confidence, professional companies are once again turning to corporate entertainment as an effective way to build and reinforce important business relationships.
“Despite a tight marketplace, the Dine Events team, supported by a targeted marketing and PR campaign, proved successful in attracting corporate business with our flexible range of services and venues. Our clients value the fact that they can source everything from a high-quality meeting buffet to a top end product launch from the Dine team, who provide an expert venue finding and planning service in parallel with excellent food and service.
“We are targeting growth over the next year with exciting expansion plans which include new services and strategic partnerships with some key venues in the region”.
Established in 1998, Dine caters for more than 100 corporate events and 200 weddings a year as well as providing exclusive private dining.
