The two-year contract covers 159 individual units

ForWorks lands £100k maintenance and repair contract

Construction and maintenance firm ForWorks has secured a £100k contract with Alternative Futures Group.

As part of the deal, Salford-based ForWorks, which is part of social organisation ForViva, will deliver repairs and maintenance for the health and social care charity.

The two-year contract covers 159 individual units, including care homes, independent hospitals and the charity’s North West offices.

The chief executive of Alternative Futures Group, Neil Campbell, said: “We look forward to working with ForWorks and we are confident that we will receive a quality service and that this is a good match for our organisation.”

The contract follows another worth £31.2m signed with Villages Housing Association in October last year. A month earlier, ForWorks announced a string of multi-million pound deals and its first foray into North Wales.

ForWorks’ director, Steve Parrington, commented: “The past 12 months has seen a period of exceptional growth for ForWorks, which has seen us build a solid reputation for high quality work in the social housing and not-for-profit sectors.

“We are excited to utilise our expertise for Alternative Futures Group and support them in their work providing vital services for vulnerable people living across the North West.”
