Ruler Analytics to target global rollout with six-figure funding
Web analytics firm Ruler Analytics is set to drive growth this year after securing a six-figure equity boost.
The Liverpool-based company will use the funding, from The North West Fund for Digital & Creative, to expand its North West team and target a global rollout of its cloud-based website analytics software.
After reportedly attracting interest for its product from over 400 firms, Ruler Analytics now plans to market the software, created with Liverpool-based marketing agency Epic New Media, to PLCs and SMEs.
Ian Leadbetter, a director and co-founder at Ruler Analytics, said: “We are delighted to receive this investment from the North West Fund.
“Like us, the team believes that the demand for monitoring marketing effectiveness is only set to grow. This investment represents a huge step forward for Ruler.”
He added: “Not only will it allow us to create new jobs in the city, it will enable us to further develop the product to incorporate the exciting ideas we have.”
The North West Fund for Digital & Creative is managed by AXM Venture Capital.
AXM investment director Rupert Wingate-Saul commented: “The Ruler team has a strong track record of delivering value for their clients.
“When looking for investments we like to find solutions which will become part of their clients’ daily workflow. We believe the Ruler Analytics platform will achieve this goal.”
