Recycling firm to facilitate growth in Normanton with £4.5m NatWest fund

WasteCare Group Ltd has agreed to a £4.5m financing deal with NatWest to facilitate the purchase of a warehouse and distribution facility at the Normanton Industrial Estate.

Established in 1980, the recycling firm initially recovered Silver from photographic, x-ray and printing waste.

WasteCare has now expanded and evolved to recycle more than 1,000 different waste streams from an extensive range of commercial and industrial sectors.

WasteCare employs more than 400 people across its UK sites including 50 people at the site in Normanton. The firm collects and recycles more than 60,000 tonnes of hazardous and difficult waste, on behalf of more than 30,000 organisations annually throughout the UK.

The business has an annual turnover of £30 million and the site in Normanton serves as a hub integral to WasteCare’s logistic and electrical recycling activities.
